When the founder of Samo Samo moved to Texas — the unofficial capital of pickleball — we landed courtside at Major League Pickleball. We didn’t plan on covering the sport, but once we did, we were all in. The energy was different. Fast-paced, intimate, and electric — it felt like something was happening.

Now we’re following the bounce. Pickleball is growing fast, and so is the culture around it. There are stories here — about players, communities, and a game carving out its space — and we’re excited to help tell them.
